The Song of Solomon Chapter 8 of 8 (To update)

The Song of Solomon

Chapter  8

¹ O that you were like a brother to me, who nursed at my mother's breast! If I met you outside, I would kiss you, and no one would despise me.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 8 verse 1)

Oh God my Father if I could see You face to face and discuss with You like a loving Father every day of my life, my life would be fulfilled Amen. I would be the happiest person on earth Amen.

² I would lead you and bring you into the house of my mother and into the chamber of the one who bore me. I would give you spiced wine to drink the juice of my pomegranates.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 8 verse 2)

Oh God my Father this is one of my greatest wishes that of becoming familiar with both Yourself and Your Mother. I wish that Your friends become my friends, and those who love You become as if family to me Amen.

³ O that his left hand were under my head, and that his right hand embraced me!

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 8 verse 3)

Oh God my Father I pray to be that close to You that I experience Your tender touch and sweet words Amen. This is something that I dream and wish to happen Amen.

The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 of 8

The Song of Solomon

Chapter  7

¹ How graceful are your feet in sandals O queenly maiden! Your rounded thighs are like Jewels, the work of a master hand.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 verse 1)

Oh God, You have created us on Your image, that is so beautiful. Each human being reflects Your beauty, my God and Father. I pray that we remain beautiful both in heart mind and spirit Amen.

² Your navel is a rounded bowl that never lacks mixed wine. Your belly is a heap of wheat, encircled with lilies.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 verse 2)

Oh God, my Father, nothing nonpure finds it's rooted in You. You are the purest wine ever and no evil can ever come from You Amen.

³ Your two breasts are like two fawns twins of a gazelle.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 verse 3)

Oh God, my Father how nice are those people who are fully alive, both spiritually, physically, socially and even psychologically, They are full of positive energy and ready to obey Your will and be of service to others Amen.

⁴ Your neck is like an ivory tower Your eyes are pools in Heshbon by the gate of Bath-rabbim. Your nose is like a tower of Lebanon overlooking Damascus.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 verse 4)

Oh God, my Father You are simply beautiful there is none like You Amen. Your beauty is reflected in nature itself the creation of Your hand Amen.

⁵ Your head crowns you like Carmel and your flowing locks are like purple; a king is held captive in the tresses.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 verse 5)

Oh God my Father when meditating on this chapter my wish to see You in person continues to increase. I crave for the moment again to see You in person so that I can again be aware of Your beauty care and love for me and the world Amen.

⁶ How fair and pleasant you are, O loved one, delectable maiden!

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 verse 6)

Oh God my Father as much as the bride finds pleasure in the groom much more or as much does the groom finds pleasure in the bride. We are the bride and You are the Groom my God and Father with whom we aim and desire to seek a long-lasting relationship that cannot be terminated Amen!

⁷ You are stately as a palm tree and your breasts are like its clusters.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 verse 7)

Oh God, my Father, I thank You for praising our positive traits and not simply focussing on those areas where we sin and miss out by making bad or negative decisions Amen.

⁸ I say I will climb the palm tree and lay hold of its branches. O may your breasts be like clusters of the vine, and the scent of your breath like apples, ⁹ and your kisses like the best wine that goes gown smoothly gliding over lips and teeth.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 verses 8 to 9)

Oh God, my Father, if there is something that I miss from my previous life are love and kisses and hugs. However today You are teaching me how to live and cope without such acts Amen.

¹⁰ I am my beloved's and his desire is for me. ¹¹ Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the fields and lodge in the villages; ¹² let us go out early to the vineyards, and see whether the vines have budded, whether the grape blossoms have opened and the pomegranates are in bloom. There I will give you my love, ¹³ The mandrakes give forth fragrance, and over our doors are all choice fruits, new as well as old, which I have laid up for you, O my beloved.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 7 verses 10 to 13)

Oh God, my Father may Your Holy Spirit fall on me, may we become one in spirit and love and may I experience Your love in abundance. May my life become mingled with Yours and we become one mind and spirit. I offer You my past old fruits and my present fruit the abundance of Your divine providence, that You continue to bless it and make it prosper Amen.

Oh God, my Father, I would like to end this seventh chapter of the Book of the Song of Solomon with the following reflection:-

Oh, brothers and sisters, God loves us like nobody on earth. He is all the time waiting to start a relationship of love with us. God is jealous when other people or situations take his place for He is the number one in our lives. God is the one who on our account became human in order to redeem us from our sins. There is no greater love than this. Amen.

The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 of 8

The Song of Solomon

Chapter  6

¹ Where has your beloved gone, O fairest among women? Which way has your beloved turned, that we may seek him with you?

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 1)

Oh God my Father I pray for such people who help others find the way back to the one true way that leads to You. I pray for spiritual directors and priests Amen. I thank You for such people Amen.

² My beloved has gone down to his garden, to the beds of spices, to pasture his flock in the gardens and to gather lilies.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 2)

Oh God my Father, You are the Shepherd and we are Your flocks of sheep and lambs. We depend totally on You my God and Father whether we admit this or not Amen.

³ I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine; he pastures his flock among the lilies.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 3)

Oh God my Father, today I make the same declaration, You are mine and I am Yours and nobody can ever break this bond but sin Amen.

⁴ You are beautiful as Tirzah, my love, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 4)

Oh God my Father You are so beautiful, and only those who have seen Your face can testify to such beauty. I thank You for the golden opportunity of having seen You even though it was in a dream or vision. You are beautiful and mighty Amen. I invite you all to join me in this song and prayer credited to Hillsong Worship.

⁵ Turn away your eyes from me, for they overwhelm me! Your hair is like a flock of goats, moving down the slopes of Gilead.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 5)

Oh God my Father Your eyes may indeed overwhelm me, when I am already in a state of stress and maybe even sin, however in different circumstances I look in Your eyes and find love mercy and compassion Amen.

⁶  Your teeth are like a flock of ewes, that have come up from the washing; all of them bear twins, and not one among them is bereaved.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 6)

Oh God my Father all who it spiritual food consume blessings so much that even the physical body becomes beautiful, however, he who feasts only on the food of the world is subject to decay especially if one does not take good care of one's teeth like myself.

I pray oh God that we learn how to take care of both the body and the soul equally with a special emphasis on the wellbeing of the soul, for that is what will be left when we leave this world amen.

⁷ Your cheeks are like halves of a pomegranate behind your veil.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 7)

Oh God my Father one of Your cheeks faces the west and the other to the east, welcoming all humans to kiss and embrace You from all sides Amen.

⁸ There are sixty queens and eighty concubines, and maidens without number.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 8)

Oh God my Father even though You have given us a body to proclaim Your name we have a tongue over which we do not always have control and which at times gets the better or worst of us, especially if we do not stop and think before we speak Amen.

⁹ My dove, my perfect one, is the only one, the darling of her mother, flawless to her that bore her. The maidens saw her and called her happy; the queens and concubines also, and they praised her.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 9)

Oh God my Father perfect in all ways, reliable and understanding caring an loving Amen. There are so many words to describe You that I fail to include them all Amen.

¹⁰ Who is this that looks forth like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army with banners?"

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 10)

Oh God, my Father different people can have a different perspective of You. People who have become sudden widowers, or others who have lost family members such as by accident or as a consequence of addiction, at an early age, may perceive You as that God who has literally 'Taken' their loved ones and may not speak highly of You.

However, others who have a healthy relationship with You, and You with them may view life from a very different perspective, one of thanksgiving and positivity even when experiencing the same negative experiences of their predecessors Amen.

¹¹ I went down to the nut orchard, to look at the blossoms of the valley, to see whether the vines had budded, whether the pomegranates were in bloom.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 11)

Oh God my Father I bless the time that I have to observe nature and the environment. I thank You from my heart Amen for all of Your creation.

¹²  Before I was aware, my fancy set me in a chariot beside my prince.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 12)

Oh God my Father since our very first encounter when You made Yourself known to me I have found myself attracted to You and to this day we are still in a relationship together Amen.

¹³ Return, return, O Shulammite! Return, return that we may look upon you. Why should you look upon the Shulammite, as a dance before two armies?

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 6 verse 13)

Return oh God my Father, make Yourself felt as in the time of the Exodus so that many will believe and repent and learn to trust in You. Manifest Yourself my God and Father Amen.

I would like to end this meditation on the sixth chapter of the Song of Solomon with the following prayer:-

Oh God my Father when You are present we alienate and live as if You are not with us, however when we are scared or anxious or in times of trouble, we ask the fatal question;-

"Where are You my God? And You answer in a loving tone,

"In the same place where I always am right by your side!

Amen

The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 of 8

The Song of Solomon

Chapter  5

¹ I come to my garden, my sister, my bride: I gather my myrrh with my spice, I eat my honeycomb with my honey, I drink my wine with my milk. Eat, friends, drink, and be drunk with love.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 1)

Oh God, my beloved Father, I thank You for Your generosity. You are offering us Your love which has no boundaries or limits. I pray that You help me in being faithful to Your unfailing love. I wish to take You upon Your offer, however, I am still in the flesh and this hinders me from living totally according to Your will, however only You can save me from the drives of this body of sin Amen. You are able to change those senses and urges that lead to causing me to sin, to drives and urges that help me to live a more positive and holy life Amen.

² I slept, but my heart was awake. Listen! my beloved is knocking. "Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my perfect one; for my head is wet with dew, my locks with the drops of the night."

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 2)

Oh God, my Father, sisters and brothers my God and Father is knocking on the doors of my heart and mind and even on yours. Will I let him wait for a reply and let Him be drenched by the drops of the dew of the night.

No! I will open up my heart to You my God and Father! Please come in and take Your place of honour and never leave my presence! However, in doing so the world will be angry at me, for it also craves for Your presence and it would be selfish of me to want You to be totally mine! Therefore I pray for even a drop of Your presence my God and Father Amen. May You always be with me Amen. I thank You for listening to my prayers.

³ I had put off my garment: how could I put it on again? I had bathed my feet; how could I soil them?

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 3)

Oh my loving Father, you undressed me of my old ways, You showed me my weak points and areas of sin and weakness, in truth why do I go back to my old self. I do not want to soil my feet or put on the old and dirty garments of the past, which You have washed in Your blood for my salvation. I pray that You save me every day of my life from becoming dirty and soiled. Thank You, my God and Father, Amen

⁴ My beloved thrust his hand into the opening, and my inmost being yearned for him.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 4)

Oh God, my beloved Father Your spirit yearns to have shared with my soul as in intercourse, my spirit is thirsty for You. Every time I listen to Your Word being proclaimed I am stimulated as in when two lovers have intimate physical contact. Your Word means everything to me, even though I do not always obey it and live exactly according to it. There are moments when I feel Your prompting to act like feelings of penetration, and during such moments I experience You in an intimate way, especially when I sense that somebody is saying something against You, or when somebody is in trouble or being treated unfairly. I cannot resist You during such moments and remain passive, even if this means making enemies among friends and family. Who can resist You or Your Holy Spirit my God and Father? Nobody.

⁵ I arose to open to my beloved, and my hands dripped with myrrh, my fingers with liquid myrrh upon the handles of the bolt.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 5)

Oh God my Father, I would like to have an intimate relationship with You such as that of lovers who give themselves freely to each other and explore each other on all levels of desires and gratification, my soul yearns to be with You or to hear Your direct voice and make a direct experience of You again. I am waiting for Your directions oh God my Father, I pray that our lives become enmeshed together to a point of no separation Amen, however, only You can make this intimate relationship possible Amen.

⁶ I opened to my beloved, but my beloved had turned and was gone. My soul failed me when he spoke. I sought him, but did not find him; I called him, but he gave no answer.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 6)

Oh God, my Father if the relationship between us becomes unhealthy or for the wrong intentions, if we reach the conclusion that we are better than others and become proud we may try to relate with You without experiencing Your presence. I, therefore, pray for humility Amen.

⁷ Making their rounds in the city the sentinels found me; they beat me, they wounded me, they took away my mantle, those sentinels of the walls.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 7)

Oh God my Father, the sentinels of this world are also trying to catch me and harm me. By criticizing me destructively and ignoring me they are trying to wound me, however, You are my avenge. You protect me before my enemies oh God my Father Amen.

⁸ I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem if you find my beloved tell him this: I am faint with love.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 8)

Oh, unknown bride kindly be informed that I also quench His love and am faint in love for Him so much that I cannot live without Him. Amen. However, His love for me is far greater than my love for Him Amen.

⁹ What is your beloved more than another beloved, O fairest among women? What is your beloved more than another beloved that you thus adjure us?

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 9)

My beloved is You my God and Father, and You are special, You are the best, there is none like You Amen and most of all because He is my dearly beloved Amen.

¹⁰ My beloved is all radiant and ruddy, distinguished among ten thousand.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 10)

Oh God, my Father I agree that You are radiant among others. Your very presence reflects love and healing, so much that the forces of evil cannot withstand Your presence and are forced to leave. You are kind and disciplined but also merciful. I love You, my God and Father, there is none like You.

¹¹ His head is the finest gold; his locks are wavy, black as raven, ¹² His eyes are like doves beside springs of waters, bathed in milk, fitly set.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verses 11 to 12)

Oh God, my Father in You no darkness can ever be found, so much that You and all Your being is radiant and glowing with beauty and glory Amen. You are omnipresent meaning that nothing is hidden from Your sight since You can be everywhere at any given time Amen. Thanks, Jesus.

¹³ His cheeks are like beds of spices, yielding fragrance. His lips are lilies, distilling liquid myrrh.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 13)

Oh God my Father how nice it is to follow in Your ways. They are fragrant but at times like myrrh, they are challenging. At times as a human, I do not live according to Your sweet ways. I pray for Your sweet presence to guide me all the days of my life.

¹⁴ His arms are rounded gold, set with jewels, His body is ivory work, encrusted with sapphires.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 14)

Oh God, Your arms are strong and embracing, always ready to welcome and love sinners such as me. I thank You for being strong when I am weak Amen.

¹⁵ His legs are alabaster columns, set upon bases of gold. His appearance is like Lebanon, choice as the cedars.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 15)

Oh God, my Father, You are strong and determined. You can never accept a wrong as being a right.

¹⁶ His speech is most sweet, and he is altogether desirable. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 5 verse 16)

Oh, friends, brothers and sisters throughout the world this is my friend and Father, about whom we are reflecting. This is God our Father, who is also my and your friend if we permit Him to be so Amen.

I would like to end this reflection on the fifth chapter of the Song of Solomon with the following prayer:-

Oh my God and Father how sweet thou art. Even though at times it is not easy to understand what You are asking of me I still thank You for being my God and Father. I pray that You keep the world under Your protective wing for we cannot exist without You Amen.

Oh God, my blessed Father, a beautiful spirit is also reflected by a beautiful body, which both are to be taken care of. I pray that I take more care of myself especially my teeth Amen.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 4 verse 3)

⁶ Until the day breathes and the shadows flee, I will hasten to the mountain of myrrh and the hill of frankincense.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 4 verse 6)

Oh God my blessed Father each day of my life I am either bearing my cross and going up Mount Golgotha my mountain of myrrh or rejoicing in love and faith and prayer on the mountain of frankincense where one day I will be totally reunited with You Amen.

⁷ You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 4 verse 7)

¹¹ Your lips distill nectar, my bride; honey and milk are under your tongue; the scent of your garments is like the scent of Lebanon.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 4 verse 11)

Oh God my beloved Father, when I meditate on Your Words as in the Bible every word is like nectar and honey which is sweet and nourishing to the body and to the soul. However at times You touch sensitive areas that need to be worked on and for such areas I thank You, because by means of such awareness raised by the messages in the Bible that You give me every day I continue to grow in my spiritual, psycho and social life Amen.

¹² A garden locked is my sister, my bride, a garden locked, a fountain sealed.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 4 verse 12)

Oh God my sweet and beloved Father, I would like to end this meditation on the fourth chapter from the book of the Song of Solomon with the following prayer:-

Oh God my blessed Father You are so beautiful. Nobody can ever compare with such beauty. All who sought fellowship with You chose to stay with You and so will I forever and ever Amen

The Song of Solomon Chapter 3

The Song of Solomon

Chapter  3

¹ Upon my bed at night I sought him whom my soul loves; I sought him, but found him not; I called him, but he gave no answer.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 3 verse 1)

Oh God  my beloved Father, what a great loss it would be for me, if I was to lay my body to rest and rise again without even feeling Your presence and thanking You for the new day by means of prayer and communicating with You by means of a simple 'Hello' or 'Good Morning. My life would be so empty and boring without You. I pray that this will never be my God and Father Amen.

² " I will rise now and go about the city, in the streets and in the squares; I will seek him whom my soul loves." I sought him, but found him not.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 3 verse 2)

Oh God my Father I have also been going about my city, my soul my body my brain. I am thirsty to find You to talk with You, but I cannot find You. Moreover I know that You can find me. I despearately need You my God and Father where are You?"

³ The sentinels found me, as they went about in the city. "Have you seen him whom my soul loves?" ⁴ Scarcely had I passed them, when I found him whom my soul loves. I held him, and would not let him go until I brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 3 verses 3 to 4)

Oh God my Father throughout these fourty-five years of relationship with You, I had been asking many sentinels, keepers of the faith priests, about You, because I have a strong feeling of thirst and need of You in my life, however You chose the day when You visited me, and took me into the inner chamber so that the relationship could actually take place. On that blessed day when You revealed yourself to me a new relationship began which to this very day is still alive. I thank You God my Father Amen.

⁵ I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the wild does: do not stir up or awaken love until it is ready!

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 3 verse 5)

Oh God my beloved Father, in the present my heart has no space for human love. It is full of misery and at times anger especially formy wife. I have even lost the smile of happiness. I pray that You help me in reneweing my soul and in finding true and real happiness again Amen.

⁶ What is that coming up from the wilderness, like a coloumn of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all the fragrant powders of the merchant?

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 3 verse 6)

Oh  God my Father, since I cannot perceive Your smell I can only compare to the perfume of the flowers and if the creation smells so nice, how much more the creator. I pray that You will always keep me close so that I will always experience Your love beauty and splendor Amen.

⁷ Look, it is the litter of Solomon! Around it are sixty mighty men of the mighty men of Israel, ⁸ all equipped with swords and expert in war, each with his sword at his thigh because of alarms by night.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 3 verses 7 to 8)

Look up oh God my Father! Following You and giving pursuit are a multitude of Chrisitans and Roman Catholics and all those who believe in You even those from other religions. The weapons that they are armed with are not swords, spears or daggers, but the Holy Book of the Bible and the Rosary Beads lethal weapons against the forces of evil. Let us all join this multitude of people and be counted among their number! Join me in this song and prayer ;"Oh when the Saints came marching in as in the following link credited it to Kids Songs English

Oh When the Saints go marching in

⁹ King Solomon made himself a palanquin from the wood of Lebanon. ¹⁰ He made its posts of silver, its back of gold, its seat of purple; its interior was inlaid with love. Daughters of Jerusalem, come out. ¹¹ Look, O daughters of Zion, at King Solomon, at the crown with which his mother crowned him on the day of his wedding, on the day of the gladness of his heart.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 3 verses 9 to11)

Oh God my beloved Father, how easy it is to fall into the trap of being worshipped. Solomon instead of using his horse or chariot made a palanquin from heavy materials and I feel sorry for those people who had to carry him. I pray oh God my Father that even if one day I will be in a position of power I will never abuse such a role at the expense of others Amen.

Oh God my beloved Father, You are my beloved one, my only loved one and in You alone do I seek the reason of my existence. I thank You for loving me so much even though I may not always show my love and gratitude in return. I pray that You continue to change me from my old self to the new self created according to Your will Amen.

The Song of Solomon Chapter 2

The Song of Solomon

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verse 4)

Oh God my Father when You called me back from England from a life of unbelief, Your intention was that of love. You have been loving me even before I was born. You invited me to make an experience of You by personally calling me with Your own voice so that You could share Your life and love with me. This is the best banquet that money could never purchase, this is a relationship with You that is growing all the time Amen.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verse 6)

Oh God my Father how I wish that You may take control of my mind and the rest of my body, so that all my focus will be on You and on doing all that is according to Your divine will Amen. Lord God my Father, take control, take control. of my life as in the following song because without You life is not worth living.

Song Jesus take the wheel

7.  I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the wild does: do not stir up or awaken love until it is ready!

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verse 7)

Oh God my Father there is a time for everything in life, there is a time to aim for love, to pray for love and then there is a long period of waiting and then You bless us with the reward in Your good time, which is perfect. I pray that we learn to wait on You my, God and Father and not act according to our own wishes and desires Amen.

8. The voice of my beloved! Look, he comes upon the mountains, bounding over the hills.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verse 8)

Oh God my Father I can never forget that day when You talked to me. Your voice was so strong that I almost had a heart attack even after that blessed moment. I felt so excited that I had to share that You had asked me to follow You and forget my past!

9. My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Look, there he stands behind our wall, gazing in at the windows, looking through the lattice.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verse 9)

Like a lover to its loved one, You are always on the lookout to see if we have chosen to give our love to somebody else such as career, job, ambition hobby or even our family! Oh God nobody can ever take Your place in my heart. You are the one and only Amen.

10. My beloved speaks and says to me; "Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away; 11. for now the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verses 10 to 11)

Oh God my Father You are showing me that now is the best time to make the move, however for some reason I keep having second thoughts. I pray that You make me strong to go against such thoughts and make the move.  I pray that You open the doors in order to encourage me to make the move Amen.

12. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. 13. The fig tree puts forth its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verses 12 to 13)

Oh God my Father, when You give me the right signs I will make my move, in the mean- time, I pray for Your support Amen.

14. O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verse 14)

Oh God my Father I thank You for that peak experience of You that I had at the time of my youth when I saw Your face and that of Your mother Amen. It was an experience that I will never forget.

15. Catch us the foxes, the little foxes, that ruin the vineyards- for our vineyards are in blossom."

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verse 15)

Oh God my beloved Father, if we were to become more aware of ourselves and our actions, if we were to permit Your Holy Spirit to guide us, instead of trying to take control of our lives, we would catch each of these evil foxes, until they become extinct. Amen. One sin after another, one bad habit after another dealt with and our lives would improve on all levels Amen.

16. My beloved is mine and I am his; he pastures his flock among the lilies, 17. Until the day breathes and the shadows flee, turn my beloved, be like a gazelle or a young stag on the cleft mountains.

(The Song of Solomon Chapter 2 verse 16)

Oh dearly beloved God my Father I am indeed truly Yours, and You are truly mine, for there is nobody like You. You are special in all Your ways. I thank You for taking care of me for taking me to green pastures, for healing and treating my wounds and injuries. Let us be like gazelles sure- footed, and fast, and let us spend time together in secret as we do each day during our time of prayer. Let me grow in my relationship with You so that my love for You may also continue to grow. I thank You for loving me but not my sins, for thus with Your help we can continue to hunt down these foxes until I am free from them and can be totally Yours and not mine Amen. Amen.

Oh dearly beloved I would like to end this second chapter of the book of the "Song of Solomon" with the following prayer:-

Oh God my beloved one, the apple of my eye, there is none like You. You do so much for me and in me, that words are not enough to explain Your love for me. Therefore all I can say is thank You for wanting to have this relationship with me. Amen.
